The growth of Premier Taxes & Accounting was a process as any with any business so be patient with yourself. After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and Georgia College & State University with a Master's of Business, De'Shonda Lucas, CEO took several master level courses in counseling and doctoral courses in Social Impact, even completed Board Member Certification.
After graduation, Ms. De'Shonda worked as government auditor and general ledger accountant where she gained hands on experience in financial accounting recording and verification. Ms. Lucas became a young widow and 2005 and became even more determined to help others. After resigning in 2009 to be more available to her daughter, Mariah, she began her entrepreneurial career as a business consultant later adding bookkeeping services, and afterwards a government contractor where she experienced she the greater earning potential through ownership. In 2011, Mrs. Lucas opened Premier Asset Inventory because she saw a need that her prior work experience, skill set, and passion prepared her for.
De'Shonda Lucas has always been about evolving as a person and business professional so it was only natural to launch Premier Taxes & Accounting in 2015 which started as consulting and accounting services, she decided it only professional to officially pick back up tax services in 2016 and in 2017 investments.
